Axeluga leveled up: local & global leaderboards and gamepad-friendly menus
Axeluga — our classic shoot-em-up with a neon retro-arcade feel, all synthwave glow and CRT scanlines in the lineage of Galaga and Space Invaders — just got a round of upgrades focused on competing and getting around.
Local & global leaderboards
The scoreboard now has a proper LOCAL / GLOBAL toggle, the same as the rest of GameVolt. Local keeps your own best runs on the device; Global puts you up against every signed-in pilot on the worldwide board. Sign in (free) and your scores sync across phone, tablet and desktop.
Fairer, skill-based scores
Clearing the whole game used to land almost everyone on the exact same score. Victory now awards a bonus that rewards how you won — a faster clear, more hull left and less damage taken all push your score higher — so two clean runs are no longer tied. The leaderboard finally ranks skill, not just completion.
Menus you can actually navigate
The Achievements and Scores screens were rebuilt in the modern GameVolt style — a clean card grid with tiers and counts — and, importantly, they're now fully playable with keyboard and gamepad. There's a real focused Back button, the boards scroll properly, and you switch Local/Global with left/right. Touch, mouse, keyboard and controller all work.
