How to Play Axeluga
Axeluga is a classic vertical-scrolling space shooter (shmup) where you pilot a fighter ship through hostile space. Enemies approach in waves from above — shoot them down before they reach you, dodge their bullets, and collect power-ups dropped by defeated foes.
The game supports three input methods: keyboard (arrow keys + Z to shoot), touch controls (virtual joystick and fire button), and gamepad (any standard controller). Pick whatever feels most comfortable and dive into the action.
The Five Worlds
-
World 1 — Asteroid BeltNavigate through drifting rocks and light enemy patrols. A warm-up that teaches the basics.
-
World 2 — Nebula DepthsReduced visibility and faster enemies. New bullet patterns demand sharper reflexes.
-
World 3 — Station RuinsDestroyed space stations create tight corridors. Armored enemies absorb more hits.
-
World 4 — Alien HomeworldOrganic enemy ships with unpredictable movement. Dense bullet curtains test your dodging.
-
World 5 — The CoreThe final gauntlet. Relentless waves, the toughest boss, and glory for those who survive.
Power-ups and Weapons
Defeated enemies occasionally drop power-ups. Grab weapon upgrades to increase your firepower from a single shot to a devastating spread. Shields give you an extra hit of protection. Bombs clear the screen of all enemies and bullets — save them for when things get overwhelming. Speed boosts let you weave through dense bullet patterns with precision.
